Checking and Changing the Shooting Conditions with the Smartphone
You can use the basic app for smartphone to make various settings such as the exposure program and white balance according to the shooting conditions.
1. Connect the camera to the smartphone.

2. Tap the exposure program button at the bottom right of the shooting screen of the basic app for smartphone to change the exposure program.
The exposure programs that can be selected with the basic app for smartphone are the same as the programs on the camera.
3. Tap each shooting parameter to change the settings.
Swipe left or right on the list of settings and tap the setting to select.
The setting displayed in white is the current setting.

Changing the Still Image Shooting Mode Settings
Tap settings button at the top right of the screen in the still image shooting mode to display the [Shooting settings] screen and make various settings for the still image shooting.
The setting items that can be set with the basic app for smartphone are the same as the items on the camera except for [Display after shooting] and [Handheld HDR].

Display after shooting
Sets whether to transfer (move or copy) shot images to the smartphone and display them on the smartphone.This is different from [Postview] in the setting items on the camera.
Changing the Video Shooting Mode Settings
Tap settings button at the top right of the screen in the video shooting mode to display the [Shooting settings] screen and make various settings for the video shooting.
The setting items that can be set with the basic app for smartphone are the same as the items on the camera except for [Video live view].

Caution
- When shooting a video with the video size set to [8K] (10 fps), [8K] (2 fps), [5.7K] (30 fps), or [4K] (60 fps) using the basic app for smartphone, remove the battery and supply power to the camera with the AC Adapter Kit K-AC166 (sold separately; the model name varies depending on the country).
- Do not remove or install the battery while the camera is operating with the power supplied via the AC Adapter Kit K-AC166 (sold separately; the model name varies depending on the country). If you remove or install the battery, the power may suddenly turn off and the video file may not be saved correctly.
