Update the THETA Firmware from the App (THETA Z1)
Update the THETA firmware from the RICOH360 App.
Download the latest firmware to your device, and then transfer and update it on your THETA
Tap THETA at the bottom of the screen
Select THETA you want to update from the list of Registered RICOH THETA
Turn on THETA
Tap “Camera Information” and then tap “Firmware Update”
Tap “Update” when the update screen appears, indicating that the THETA and smartphone have completed wireless LAN communication.
Tap “Update” in the dialog box that appears to confirm whether you want to perform the update.
Please make sure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled with your RICOH THETA and smartphone.
An Internet connection is required to download the firmware file to your smartphone.
Tap Download when you have confirmed the Internet connection.
Please make sure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled with your RICOH THETA and smartphone.
*Please leave the camera turned on until the update is complete.
Tap the Complete button and the camera will reboot when the update is complete.
