2. Set the shooting conditions.

Pressing the Fn button switches to the self-timer shooting.

Using the RICOH360 app for smartphone allows you to set the exposure program, shooting parameters, etc.

    Setting the Shooting Conditions

3. Position the camera.

The top/bottom correction is applied regardless of the orientation of the camera, but the top/bottom correction function cannot be used when recording videos with the video size set to [8K] (10 fps).
To record the azimuth orientation correctly, position the camera vertically as much as possible.

4. Press the shutter button.

After the shutter button is pressed, a shutter sound is heard at the start of shooting.

Shot still images and videos are saved in the internal memory of the camera.

Caution

  • Azimuth orientation information may not be recorded correctly if the camera is tilted or a magnetic item such as a magnet is placed near the camera when shooting.
  • If the battery level drops below a certain level while shooting a video, shooting is forcibly stopped.
  • If the temperature inside the camera rises, shooting is forcibly stopped for safety.

Note

  • Still images and videos saved in the internal memory can be checked and deleted with the RICOH360 app for smartphone.

Viewing Still Images and Videos Saved in the Camera

  • Videos may not be transferred to a smartphone or played back smoothly on a smartphone depending on the video size.
  • When the number of recordable still images or video recordable time is reduced, delete still images and videos in the internal memory or transfer them to a smartphone.

Transferring Still Images and Videos from the Camera to a Smartphone

  • The OLED panel and all lamps turn off during exposure.
  • The camera enters the power saving mode if no operations are performed for a set period of time. You can still perform shooting even in the power saving mode by pressing the shutter button. The power saving mode can be disabled with the RICOH360 app for smartphone.
  • The camera enters the sleep mode if no operations are performed for a set period of time (default setting: 3 minutes). The sleep mode is canceled when the power button is pressed. The sleep mode can be disabled with the RICOH360 app for smartphone.
