Changing the Settings with the Camera

Necessary preparations

The following settings can be made and changed by operating the camera buttons.

Formatting the internal memory

You can delete all still images and videos saved in the internal memory.

1. Turn on the power of the camera.

2. Press and hold the wireless button, Fn button, and shutter button simultaneously for 6 seconds.

     The message [Format Storage] is displayed on the OLED panel.

3. Press the Fn button.

     Formatting of the internal memory starts and the message [Formatting...] flashes on the OLED panel.

     To cancel formatting of the internal memory, press the mode button.

Resetting the wireless connection information

You can reset the wireless LAN and Bluetooth® connection information to factory defaults.

If you forget the password for the connection, perform the following operations to reset it.

1. Turn on the power of the camera.

2. Press and hold the wireless button and mode button simultaneously for 6 seconds.

     The power turns off when the wireless connection information is reset successfully.

Resetting all the camera settings to factory defaults

You can reset all camera settings to factory defaults.

Note that the wireless connection information is also reset and all still images and videos saved in the internal memory are also deleted.

1. Turn on the power of the camera.

2. Press and hold the wireless button, mode button, and shutter button simultaneously for 6 seconds.

      The message [Initialize Camera?] is displayed on the OLED panel.

3. Press the Fn button.

      The reset of all camera settings starts and the message [Initializing...] is displayed on the OLED panel, and then the power turns off.

      To cancel the reset of all camera settings, press the mode button.

Setting the USB Mass Storage

You can turn on and off the USB Mass Storage (MSC).

1. Turn on the power of the camera.

2. Press and hold the mode button and Fn button simultaneously for 2 seconds.

      The message [USB Mass Storage] is displayed on the OLED panel.

3. Press the Fn button to turn on the MSC, or the mode button to turn off the MSC (to switch to the MTP).

Note

  • The changed USB Mass Storage setting is applied the next time the camera is connected to a computer via a USB cable.
  • After MSC is turned on, the message [USB Mass Storage] is displayed on the OLED panel when the camera is connected to a computer via a USB cable.
  • To check the charging status of the camera, switch to the MTP with the USB cable disconnected.
  • You cannot turn on the MSC while uploading images to the RICOH360 Cloud.
