Setting the Exposure Program

You can set the exposure program according to the shooting conditions.

Necessary preparations

1. Tap the exposure program button on the shooting screen of the camera.

Displaying the Shooting Screen and Various Other Screens

The exposure program selection screen is displayed.

2. Tap the exposure program to set.

Auto

The shutter speed and ISO sensitivity are adjusted automatically according to the shooting conditions.

The exposure compensation and white balance can be set in the shooting parameters before shooting.

When [Shooting method] is set to [Normal shooting] or [Time Shift] in the shooting settings, the “Option” (

noise reduction,

HDR rendering, and

handheld HDR) can also be set.

Shutter priority

The shutter speed, white balance, and exposure compensation can be set in the shooting parameters before shooting.

ISO priority

The ISO sensitivity, white balance, and exposure compensation can be set in the shooting parameters before shooting.

Manual

The shutter speed, ISO sensitivity, and white balance can be set in the shooting parameters before shooting.

My Settings (only when the settings are registered)

Shooting is performed with the shooting conditions registered in My Settings.

Changing the Shooting Settings

Caution

If the shutter speed is set slower than 1/8 seconds when the exposure program is set to [Manual], a sound is heard both at the start and end of shooting. In addition, if shooting is performed when the exposure program is set to [Auto] and the “Option” is set to

(noise reduction),

(HDR rendering), or

(handheld HDR), a sound is heard both at the start and end of shooting. At this time, images are not saved if the power is turned off before shooting is complete.
