Image Shooting Mode
You can set the capture conditions when capturing.
The following settings can be made from the Image Shoot Method screen.
EV:
Allows you to correct the exposure of the Photo to be taken (brightness correction of the entire Photo). Adjust the brightness appropriately while viewing the LIVE preview.
WB:
Allows you to change the color tones of the Photo you are shooting. Watch the LIVE preview and select the one that gives you just the right color tones.
ExposureMode:
Exposure is the adjustment of the amount of light delivered to the image sensor. There are three elements that adjust exposure: aperture, shutter speed, and sensitivity. These elements are combined to create the exposure.
- Auto: The aperture, shutter speed, ISO sensitivity, and white balance are automatically adjusted according to the shooting environment.
- Noise reduction, DR correction, and HDR composition can also be selected in the Option Setting.
- Tv (Shutter Priority): Settings for shutter speed and white balance.
- ISO (ISO priority): Settings for ISO sensitivity and white balance.
- M (Manual): Settings for shutter speed, aperture, ISO sensitivity, and white balance.
Exposure Mode Option Settings
You can select an option to reduce noise when shooting in dark areas, or to reduce white noise in areas where there is a large difference between brightness and darkness in the picture.
- OFF: No options are available.
- DR Compensation: This option is useful for hand-held shooting in dark and light areas
- Noise Reduction: This option is useful when shooting in dark locations with a tripod or other fixed camera.
- HDR: Effective when shooting with a tripod or other fixed camera in dark or light areas.
Preset Mode:
Presets are also available in SC2 and SC2 for Business. For a detailed description of each mode, its usage scenarios, and the procedure for switching modes, please click here.
- SC2
- Face: Detects a person's face and places it in the center of the image. Also, it corrects the image so that the person's Face stands out.
- Lens-by-Lens Exposure: Lens-by-Lens Exposure corrects images so that objects in both light and dark areas are clearly visible when capturing scenes with large differences in brightness, such as inside and outside of a car or on a stage.
- Night View: This mode allows you to take beautiful pictures of Night View. When using this mode, it is recommended to use a tripod or monopod to hold the THETA in place.
- SC2 for Business
- Room: Capture a beautiful overall image by correcting the difference in brightness between the interior and the exterior when capturing images indoors or in a car. When using this mode, it is recommended to use a tripod / monopod to hold the THETA in place.
Shutter Speed:
Shutter Speed: When the exposure mode is set to Tv or M, you can Save the shutter speed (exposure time). The higher the value, the slower the shutter speed (longer exposure time).
- Tv: 1/8 to 1/25,000 max.
- M: max 60 - min 1/25000
ISO:
When the exposure mode is set to ISO, the ISO sensitivity can be changed. The lower the number, the lower the sensitivity, the more light is required, but the less noise is produced in the Photo. The higher the value, the higher the sensitivity, the less light is required, but the noisier the Photo will be.
