Wireless LAN Connect Setting on THETA (QR Code)

Scan the QR code to configure your wireless LAN settings.

1. Display wireless LAN connection information as a QR code using your smartphone

Android

Tap [Settings] → [Network & Internet] → [Internet]

Surrounding Wi-Fi networks will appear under the Wi-Fi section

Tap the [Gear] icon to the right of the top Wi-Fi list entry labeled “Connected”

Tap the [Share] QR code icon in the center of the screen

The QR code will be displayed

iOS

Tap the “Shortcuts” app on your iPhone.

Tap ‘Gallery’ in the bottom-right corner.

Type “wi-fi” in the Search bar and tap the displayed “QR Your Wi-Fi”.

Tap “Add Shortcut”.

Tap “Shortcuts” in the bottom-left corner to confirm the shortcut was added.

Tap the added shortcut.

Enter the SSID and tap “Done”.

Enter the password and tap “Done”.

A QR code will appear; save it using a screenshot or similar method.

2. Start THETA and tap the settings button (gear icon) in the upper right corner.

3. Tap Add Network.

4. Place the setup QR code within the yellow frame to automatically scan it and configure your wireless LAN settings.

You can generate this QR code using your smartphone's sharing feature or via websites.

* Some smartphones may not recognize QR codes generated by certain apps. In that case, connect by specifying the SSID.

5. Tap the ← in the upper left to return.

When connected to the access point, the Wi-Fi icon will light up (animation stops). After connecting to the internet, the cloud icon will show “Connected to Cloud”.
