THETA SC2 and SC2 for Business
You can operate the THETA connected using the RICOH360 app.
1. Tap the THETA icon at the bottom of the app screen.
2. Select the THETA device to be used for room shooting from the list of authorized RICOH THETA devices.
If this is your first time connecting the THETA and the RICOH360 App, tap Register.
If the authorization permissions required to connect the THETA device to your smartphone are not displayed in the Wireless LAN Connect Settings, the following display settings will appear at the bottom of the screen. A white check mark indicates insufficient authorization. Tap the white check mark to access the Settings screen and adjust the permissions.
If all permissions are set, this message will not appear.

Note: The above screen is from the iOS version.
Permissions required for iOS
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone
- Allow RICOH360 app to access Bluetooth
- Enable Location Services on your smartphone
- Allow the RICOH360 app to access your location
- Allow the RICOH360 app to access the Local Network
Permissions required for Android
- Enable Wi-Fi on your smartphone
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone
- Enable Location Services on your smartphone
- In the RICOH360 app settings, turn on “Allow Access to Location Information” and “Use Accurate Location Information”
- Adjust the RICOH360 App settings to allow access to nearby devices.
When all permissions have been set, tap Done.
3. Tap the screen to take a picture.
The shooting screen will open.
If the camera is in still imageshooting mode, the application will display the still image shooting screen, and the camera symbol (green dotted line) at the top ofthe screen will change to a solid white icon, asshown in the screenshot above.
When the camera is in video recordingmode, the applicationwill switch to video recording mode screen. The video camera symbol will change from anoutline to a solidwhite icon.

Image Capture Mode
In Image Capture Mode, you can switch between capture modes using the pop-up display at the bottom of the screen by tapping [Normal Capture] in the top right corner of the live view display.
- Normal Shooting
- Tap the white circle button to capture an image.
- With Normal Shooting, you can set the Self-Timer.

- Multi Bracket
- Continuous shooting with multiple (up to 19) shooting parameters with Manual settings for shutter speed, ISO sensitivity, and white balance color temperature.

- You can use Presets to achieve the best results for specific subjects and shooting scenes without having to make difficult settings.
SC2 has three modes: Face, Lens-by-Lens Exposure, and Night View, while SC2 for business has a Room mode.
